Moraine Park’s 2017 Great Pink Pumpkin 5K Run/Walk featured roughly 525 pink-clad participants and raised more than $11,000 for Breast Cancer Recovery and student scholarships.

As the holiday season approaches, Moraine Park Technical College is offering a simple way to give back and show support for the men and women who are serving our country overseas.
In order to make their time a little more enjoyable away from home this holiday season, students and staff from Moraine Park’s Beaver Dam campus are conducting a “Christmas in a Shoebox” drive again with donations being accepted until Friday Nov. 3. Continue reading
October is Fair Trade month and to help raise awareness MPTC and 3 other area colleges have teamed up to present a month of film screenings.
UW-Oshkosh kick starts the month on Oct. 2 with the “Dark Side of Chocolate” from 6 to 9 pm in the Sage 1214.
UW-FDL will show “Unravel” on Oct. 3 at 12:30 pm followed by a Wellness Tea Tasting in room UC-114.
Marian University will show “Connected by Coffee” on Oct. 5 from 7 to 9:30 pm in the Stayer Center Auditorium.
UW-Oshkosh presents “True Cost” on Oct. 10 from 6 to 9 pm in the Sage 1214

The Service Learning Award is an Moraine Park recognition program designed to acknowledge students who are committed to serving their community.
Students who complete 50 to 100 hours of service learning during their time at Moraine Park will receive this award. All students who log their hours and share a reflection will receive an Moraine Park Service Learning Silver Award for 50 hours of service or a Gold Award for 100 hours of service.Continue reading

Corey has really set himself apart by becoming a Quickbooks Pro-Advisor. Moraine Park takes pride in working with instructor like Corey who keep themselves up to date and then share that information with our students.

When was the last time you took an Excel course? If you are like most of us you have probably googled a command or two or watched a YouTube video on a specific function when needed. You get the work done, but the experience was uninspiring.

Although we all have a competitive spark living inside of us, some have physical limitations that prevent them from participating in athletic events. Enter the Angels of my TEAM TRIUMPH. Disabled athletes, known as Captains, become part of a team of able-athletes known as Angels. Captains provide inspiration and a sense of joy and excitement all the while being pushed by an Angel in a race using a specially designed chair. Captains and Angels share their moment of glory together when they cross the finish line as a team.
