Moraine Park recently held “Transfer Fairs” at each of its campuses. Our College has developed strong relationships with many four-year colleges/universities to help students earn a bachelor’s degree, and our Transfer Fairs provided a great opportunity for students to speak in-person with representatives from these various schools.
What’s that? You missed out on attending the Transfer Fairs but still want to learn about your options? Well, don’t you worry. We’ve got your back! Check out the many credit transfer agreements Moraine Park has to offer at the links below:
Scholarships are free money that does not need to be paid back. Moraine Park lists scholarship opportunities on our website. Check out current opportunities here: http://www.morainepark.edu/financial-aid/scholarships/
As you prepare for life after school? We want to provide you with next steps, tips, and advice regarding your student loans.
First, review your records and student account. You’ll need to figure out whether you have federal student loans, private student loans, or both. The advice below is for your federal student loans. To discuss repayment options for your private student loans, contact your lender.
Drug abuse we can talk about.
The list can go on and on. What we have a hard time to talk about is mental illness and yet 1 in 3 individuals suffer. Sadly some may suffer in silent or are told “our family takes care of our own problems” when recommending counseling.
Transferring Moraine Park Technical College credits to a four-year college or university has never been easier. Find information from over 20 four-year colleges and universities at Moraine Park’s Transfer Fair, held on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Beaver Dam campus; Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Fond du Lac campus; and Thursday, Feb. 23, at the West Bend campus. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the cafeteria at each location.
Throughout history, mankind has stumbled on many important discoveries: electricity, gravity, penicillin, new continents, new galaxies, the ability to combine forks and spoons into one handy tool (all hail, the spork!), to name a few.
Admittedly, we may not be able to compare to some of those amazing discoveries, but we did host an awesome event this past week: one that centered around helping people discover what we offer, and how we can help people find successful, satisfying careers.
