Like buffets? Umm, yeah you do. Who doesn’t?!
Well, while it may not have been a brightly-lit spread of mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, ribs and fried chicken, Moraine Park offered a smorgasbord of college programs and services at its Career Showcase events this week.
At all three of our campuses, anyone interested in learning more about what we offer could fill up on all the criminal justice, nursing, digital arts, cosmetology, accounting, welding … well, I think you get the idea. There was tons to choose from and sample! Instructors and staff were on hand to answer questions about programs, classroom experiences and the employment outlook. Staff from advising, financial aid, career center and student services departments were also available to guide students and families through the admissions process.
Needless to say, everyone got a huge helping of insight and knowledge.
One big difference, though: At this “buffet,” we hope everyone left hungry – to chase their dreams; pursue a fulfilling, rewarding career and better their lives.
