Cosmetology “Highlights” – Meet Brittny

Meet Britt!  She is married, a mother of three and a Cosmetology student.  Britt has always been interested in doing hair and even though she had her children young, she said when her youngest went to school, so would she.  And she DID!  All three kids and herself had their first day of school together!!  When Britt is not in school she enjoys spending time with family biking and hiking.

Britt’s brother had attended MPTC’s welding program and when she expressed interest in going back to school for “hair” her brother recommended Moraine Park.

The staff, instructors and classmates are what Britt likes the best so far along with performing fun colors and learning and practicing facials.  The next challenge will be learning artificial nails.  She hopes after graduation to work in a salon close to home.  Her original goal was to learn how to do hair but has really enjoyed facials and might want to focus on working in a full service salon performing many services.
