Fall 2017 Dean’s list is out!

Across the country, there are millions of college students striving to be a better version of themselves. Many of them work, have families and are juggling multiple responsibilities, but still, they have made the commitment to their education. Moraine Park students are no different. In fact, the one thing that all college students could probably all agree on is that college, in general, is far from easy. However, if you walk the hallways of any of the three Moraine Park campuses you will see a robust list of student names on the wall. If you’re wondering, there are 1,163 to be exact. (Yes, I counted.)

How did all of these students get their name on the wall?
Each one earned an average grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5, are enrolled in at least 6 credits in an undergraduate-level course, haven’t had a failing or incomplete grade in the semester and are in good academic standing all around. To sum it up, they are rock stars.

Students who make the Deans’ list have a greater opportunity for scholarships, recognition in your community and on campus, and name recognition by your Dean. Plus, it’s a pretty great accomplishment to put on your resume!

Congratulations to all of the students who earned a spot on the fall 2017 Dean’s list, this was no easy fete!
