Fore! … a good cause
Forty-eight Moraine Park staff, faculty and retirees gathered at Whispering Springs Golf Course in Fond du Lac on June 17th to laugh, duff, and raise money for student scholarships and the student emergency fund. The event in its second year featured a nine-hole scramble, putting contest, basket raffle, 50/50 raffle and Brewers ticket raffle.
But this was no ordinary golf tournament. Golfers were challenged to make their putt with a four-handled putter on one hole and to get a hole-in-one using a sling shot and tennis ball on another.
After all the scores were tabulated, the Moraine Park Golf Social traveling trophy was awarded to the foursome of Vice President of Student Affairs, Stan Cram, Social Science Instructor Joe Halter, and retirees John Willis and Craig Finley.
