IMD students hone their motion graphics skills!

Moraine Park IMD student honing their motion graphic skills

Do you want to create animated logos? Moving text? Control sparkles and glows to bring static images to life? This is what the Interactive Media Design students who are enrolled in the Motion Graphics emphasis at Moraine Park Technical College get to do on a regular basis.

They work with Adobe After Effects, and other Adobe products, to create the motion graphics.

Their skills can be used in creating movie titles, animated logos that appear in TV commercials, and annotations and special effects that appear in various documentary films and instructional videos. The IMD students develop the knowledge and skills to design and manipulate graphics, animation, sound, text, and video into a variety of media presentations.

When IMD student Jeremy Pogorelec was asked if the IMD program was what he expected it to be, he answered “Everything and more!”

The IMD students do a little bit of everything making them versatile employees to their current and future employers. If this looks like, or sounds like, something you would like to be part of, contact a Moraine Park Admissions Advisor to set up a visit to the West Bend campus to meet with the IMD instructors and students.
