As yet another academic year winds down here at Moraine Park, let’s take some time to check out the experiences of a few of our students, or what skills they find most valuable for their career field, in their own words:

I will achieve my goals

“After taking a long time off of school and trying out different careers, I finally decided my passion is helping others. I decided to apply at MPTC for the Nursing program and am very excited to be accepted and able to begin this journey. I am in my first year and currently doing my prerequisites for Nursing. My instructors help and encourage me.  I am confident that I will succeed at achieving my goals.”

“Going to school at Moraine Park is the main reason I have a job with MCR Services right now; they want me to continue with their company by taking me on as an apprentice. Any college student wants to secure a career with a company, and I’m no different.  My career path of becoming an electrician allows me to have peace of mind and enjoy my hobbies of fishing and four wheeling.”

John Scepanski – Future Graduate 2017 – Electricity Program

Expecting new career opportunities in HVAC/R

“My name is Doug.  I am 44 years old.  I am in the HVAC/R program at MPTC. Successful completion of this program will open up many rewarding new career opportunities.  I am very excited about what the future holds for me upon completion of this program.”

Future Electrician

“I discovered the Electricity program at Moraine Park through a field trip with my Slinger High School. The visit sparked an immense interest in me for Electricity. My program instructor, Mark Wamsley, is genuine and real and is by far the best instructor that I’ve ever had.”

Ryan Opitz – Future Graduate Spring 2017 – Electricity Program
