Olympics …. Nurses compete in Olympics? Why, yes they do!

The Wisconsin Student Nurses Association Convention was held Friday, Feb. 3, through Sunday, Feb. 5, at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. Nursing students were tested on their knowledge of nursing throughout different activities.

This opportunity allowed for additional networking, traveling, and showcasing the education they are receiving through the Nursing program at Moraine Park Technical College.

Along with this event, the start of the Spring 2017 semester is off to a great start for the Nursing Program at Moraine Park Technical College!

The Nursing program offers dynamic opportunities to broaden the soft and hard skills of the nursing students.  The Student Nurses Association (SNA) is offered at all three campuses of Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, and West Bend.  This week the West Bend SNA has been busy hosting an open house and a basket raffle. Funds raised from the basket raffle help support the SNA’s travel to New Orleans over spring break and network with local nurses that cared for those affected by hurricane Katrina.
