Moraine Park Technical College is currently seeking adjunct faculty for upcoming community education courses including Feng Shui, Creative Writing Sparks, Creative Writing Poetry, Intro to Social Networking and Investment Principals/Strategies.
Feng Shui will provide information on the ancient Chinese study of the environment. It will offer hands-on experience, using the Zuan Kong method to examine, analyze and interpret the home environment. Class will be held Tuesdays, Feb. 10, through Feb. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Creative Writing Sparks, held Thursdays, Feb. 3 through Feb. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m., will teach writing techniques that access imagination and inner wisdom in writing.
Creative Writing Poetry will teach writing techniques that access imagination and inner wisdom in poetry. Class will be held Thursdays, Feb. 3 through Feb. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Intro to Social Networking will cover how to use Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for personal and professional gain. The class will learn how to set up a profile, make connections and maintain privacy. Class will be held on Tuesday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday, May 3, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Investment Principals/Strategies will be held Monday, Feb. 21, and Wednesday, April 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. The class will look at the principles of investing in order to make intelligent investment decisions.
