The Moraine Park Technical College District Board will begin the process to find the College’s next president as phase one of the nationwide search gets underway Sept. 20 with recruitment and acceptance of applications taking place through Nov. 24. Screening of applicants and the selection of initial interview candidates will take place Nov. 29 through Dec. 15.
Moraine Park District Board Chair Jodine Deppisch said they are pleased with the initial groundwork that was put in place to ensure the College’s next president continues to meet the needs of the Moraine Park District. “Our Human Resources staff have done an excellent job gathering input from key community and business stakeholders within the district and have used that information to develop the leadership profile for the position,” said Deppisch. “We heard from our constituents the importance of bringing someone in who will continue to support the economic development activities of the region as well as foster collaboration and partnerships with external stakeholders. We are confident the search process will garner several excellent candidates able to move Moraine Park forward.”
The search is being led by the College’s Vice President of Human Resources Kathy Broske.
Moraine Park President Gayle Hytrek, who announced her retirement in May, will conclude seven years of service to Moraine Park and the Wisconsin Technical College System at the end of the 2010-11 academic year.
