In an effort to provide regional business leaders with a competitive edge, Moraine Park Technical College will be offering a series in leadership excellence on the Fond du Lac and West Bend campuses.
The Leadership Excellence Foundational Series will begin March 10 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Moraine Park’s West Bend campus. The first class will cover Basic Principles of a Collaborative Workplace with continuing classes covering The Leader in Each of Us, Proactive Listening, Giving and Receiving Constructive Feedback, Personal Strategies for Navigating Change and Giving Recognition. Classes will end on May 19.
Another Leadership Excellence Foundational Series will run from March 30 to June 8 on Moraine Park’s Fond du Lac campus from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
Beginning Wednesday, March 30, is the Leadership Excellence Intermediate Series. It will run from March 30 to June 8 on Moraine Park’s Fond du Lac campus from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The Intermediate Series is a continuation of the Foundation series. Topics covered through the meeting dates include Handling Emotions Under Pressure, Moving From Conflict to Collaboration, Influencing Win-Win Outcomes, Managing Your Priorities, Coaching: Bringing Out the Best in Others, and Express Yourself: Present Thoughts and Ideas.
