Moraine Park receives donation from SunGard

SunGard Higher Education recently donated $4,000 to the Moraine Park Foundation, allowing scholarship opportunities for Moraine Park Technical College students. Moraine Park and SunGard have enjoyed a strong partnership for the past five years, with SunGard serving as Moraine Park’s technology management services provider.

“I cannot express my gratitude enough for the gift SunGard has made to the Moraine Park Foundation,” said Kelly Norton, director of the Moraine Park Foundation. “Partnerships like this are essential for the continued growth and development of our scholarship fund. Their gift offers us the ability to ensure the success of our students and, in turn, strengthen the communities we serve . . . for that we are truly grateful.”

Jim Blakeslee, SunGard Chief Information Officer and Vice President for Information Technology is proud of the relationship between SunGard and Moraine Park. “SunGard Higher Education values the partnership with Moraine Park,” he said. “As a company with a sole focus on higher education, we are happy to have the opportunity to provide scholarship opportunities for students at the College.”
