Moraine Park Technical College will offer two training sessions in December for businesses interested in learning more about government contracting and federal solicitations.
“Selling to the State of Wisconsin” will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7. This comprehensive seminar provides a foundation for contracting with the State of Wisconsin government. By attending this seminar, participants will learn how the state procures the products and services it needs; which agencies buy what items/services; and how to use VendorNet, the State of Wisconsin’s electronic purchasing information system.
The training session will be offered at the Beaver Dam campus, 700 Gould Street. Registration is required. The fee for this seminar is $35 per person and includes all materials needed.
“Create an Offer to a Federal Government Solicitation” will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Attendees will learn how to respond to solicitations, understand the contract award process and contract requirements, develop a systematic approach to typical government solicitations, comply with solicitation instructions, identify key evaluation factors within a solicitation and create a compelling and responsive proposal.
The training session will be offered at the West Bend campus, 2151 North Main Street. The fee for this seminar is $65 per person and includes all materials needed.
