Lunch hour concerts set at Moraine Park in April

The public is invited to enjoy two free upcoming concerts at Moraine Park Technical College’s Fond du Lac campus.

 

Singer/songwriter Shevy Smith will perform her unique blend of country and pop on Wednesday, April 4, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

 

Emilia Dahlin, another singer/songwriter, will showcase her folk and jazz stylings on Tuesday, April 24, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dahlin was a finalist at the 2006 Telluride (Colorado) Bluegrass Festival’s Troubadour Competition.

 

Both concerts take place in the Cyber Center cafeteria. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and can be purchased for $6 per meal for the public.

Shevy Smith will also perform on Thursday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the cafeteria of Moraine Park's West Bend campus. The public is invited to enjoy this free concert, along with free coffee during the show. The event is sponsored by the West Bend campus Student Senate and Activities Committee.
