Mary Letz of Fond du Lac and Wendy Zettinig of West Bend are the most recent Moraine Park Technical College students to receive Program for Continuing Education (PCE) grants from PEO International. Both women were sponsored by Fond du Lac’s Chapter K of PEO.

Letz is enrolled in the Accounting program at the Fond du Lac campus, while Zettinig is pursuing a Medical Office Specialist degree at the West Bend campus.

Past Moraine Park PCE grant recipients sponsored by Chapter K include Tracy Callen of Slinger and Vanessa Forqurean of Fond du Lac, both in Moraine Park’s Nursing program; Nancy Leakey of Fond du Lac, Medical Office Specialist program; Robin Russell of Fond du Lac, Early Childhood program; Regina Steinhardt of Sheboygan, a May 2006 graduate of the Graphic Communications – Electronic Pre-Press program and Desktop Publishing certificate; Rachel Walters of Fond du Lac, Instructional Assistant program; and Kandi Wendell of Fond du Lac, Criminal Justice – Corrections program.

“Each one of our candidates has returned to school not only to achieve personal goals, but also to set an example for their children and others,” said Maureen Betz, Chapter K’s PCE chair. “They demonstrate to our chapter the importance of continuing to help women to pursue their educational goals.” PEO is a philanthropic organization that increases educational opportunities for women through scholarships, grants, awards and loans.
