Moraine Park Technical College is offering working adults the opportunity to earn an Office Software Suite certificate while taking class just one night per week.
Windows, Word and Excel will be offered this fall, with PowerPoint and Access offered during the spring semester. Each will be taught in a student-driven traditional format via Internet Video Conference on the Fond du Lac and West Bend campuses.
The fall courses will be offered as follows on Thursdays from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.:
· Microsoft Windows: 103-189-010, Aug. 30-Sept. 20. Cost: $100.65 plus books.
· Microsoft Word: 103-160-012, Sept. 27-Nov. 1. Cost: $197.30 plus books.
· Microsoft Excel: 103-180-013, Nov. 8-Dec. 20. Cost: $197.30 plus books.
“An Office Software Suite certificate can help working adults who are seeking a new position, provide them with more job security or be used to advance their careers,” said Stephanie Murre Wolf, Moraine Park Office Technology and Computer Applications Instructor. “It is a very marketable certificate that employers appreciate.”
The classes will be held in Room O-106.1 on the Fond du Lac campus and Room L-110 on the West Bend campus.
