First-time students who start classes at Moraine Park Technical College this fall are invited to attend New Student Orientation, a special “kickoff” session.

New students can meet each other, connect with Moraine Park staff, get helpful strategies and learn more about resources to make their first semester the easiest transition possible. Moraine Park staff will explain funding, student records, finding a part-time job while attending school, tutoring services and other resources. Students can get their student IDs, purchase books and locate their classrooms. There will also be sessions for parents and spouses.

New Student Orientation will be held at the Beaver Dam campus on Monday, July 23, and Thursday, Aug. 9; at the Fond du Lac campus on Tuesday, July 24, and Tuesday, Aug. 7; and at the West Bend campus on Thursday, July 26, and Monday, Aug. 6. Students may choose the date and session time (1-4 p.m. or 5:30-8:30 p.m.) that works best for them.

New students who haven’t already registered for orientation should immediately call 1-800-472-4554, ext. 5854, to enroll in a session.
