Reservations are being taken for the annual Stephanie Nevins Memorial Endowment Fund Modified Ryder Cup Golf Outing, slated for Saturday, Sept. 22, at Whispering Springs Golf Course.

The event is a fundraiser for the Moraine Park Foundation, which provides scholarships for students at Moraine Park Technical College. This year all proceeds will go to the Anne Marie Burroughs Memorial Endowment Fund, which is dedicated for students in Moraine Park’s Graphic Communications – Electronic Prepress program offered at the Fond du Lac and West Bend campuses.

The modified Ryder Cup format involves foursomes competing together for a team score. Foursomes are made by the golf committee or may be formed by participants. Holes one through six consist of a scramble event; holes seven through 12 feature a three-person best ball event; and holes 13-18 are a two-person alternating shot event.

Tee times start at noon; hors d’oeuvres and an awards presentation will take place on the patio after the event. The cost is $65 per person for golf, a golf cart and hors d’oeuvres. Hors d’oeuvres are $15 for the guests of golfers, and $20 for others who wish to attend but not golf. An optional Closest to the Pin contest will take place, with a $10 entry fee.
