Selling to the State of Wisconsin business seminar offered

Moraine Park Technical College will help area businesses learn how to sell their products and services to the
State of Wisconsin at a training seminar on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The session will be conducted by
the Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) at Moraine Park’s Fond du Lac campus. 


“Selling to the State of Wisconsin” provides a foundation for contracting with the state. Attendees will learn
how the state procures the products and services it needs, which agencies buy what items or services and how to use VendorNet, the State of Wisconsin's electronic purchasing information system. Other contracting resources within the state will be discussed.


“Our federal government is the largest purchaser of goods and services in the world, yet Wisconsin ranks near
the bottom for tapping into this market. These seminars will help businesses learn the ins and outs of competing for
those federal contract dollars,” said Ralph Steckman, BPAC interim program director.
