by admin19. November 2007 19:00Moraine Park's campuses in Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac and West Bend each had a preview day for high school juniors and seniors Nov. 13-15. Through Preview Days, teens spend a morning on a Moraine Park campus taking a closer look at specific programs, meeting instructors and getting a feel for college life.
The attendance level at the Fond du Lac campus exceeded expectations as around 300 students fro
m throughout the Moraine Park district visited the campus on Nov. 14. At the Fond du Lac and West Bend campuses, the teens selected two programs to visit, with one program chosen at Beaver Dam.
More than 40 programs were “tried out” by visitors at the three campuses, including Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Associate, Automotive Technician, Barber/Cosmetologist, Business Management, Criminal Justice – Corrections, Culinary Arts and Food Service Production, Early Childhood Education and Child Care Services, Electrical Power Distribution, Electricity, EMT – Paramedic, Nursing, Veterinary Technician and Welding.
Other opportunities to tour the campus and learn about programs will take place during Discover Moraine Park in February and Campus Snapshots in April. These events are open to any interested individuals.
