Dr. Chery F. Kendrick, a regulatory specialist for the veterinary profession, will present “OSHA for the Veterinary Practice” at Moraine Park Technical College’s West Bend campus on Saturday, Feb. 9.
During this informative and enjoyable seminar scheduled for 12 noon to 4 p.m., Dr. Kendrick will provide the tools to simplify the regulatory aspect of a veterinary practice and be ready for an OSHA inspection. Participants will receive tools that they can use immediately, including a CD-ROM with an OSHA safety manual, which will be personalized at the seminar for their own practice; an MSDS CD-ROM to use for a clinic’s MSDS library; and a continuing education certificate. There will be enough time to ask questions.
For the OSHA manual, participants should bring their laptops (either PC or Mac) to customize the manual for their clinic. Moraine Park will provide laptops for those who don’t have one.
The seminar will take place in the Applied Manufacturing Technology Center auditorium on Moraine Park’s West Bend campus, 2151 N. Main St. Cost is $99 per person, which includes materials and refreshments. To register, contact Eileen Rottscholl at 920-924-3491 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
