Amanda Ennis of Fond du Lac recently placed at the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference in Madison Feb. 28-29.

A Moraine Park Technical College student in the Administrative Assistant program, Ennis placed first in Database Applications and fourth in Office Procedures. Both are computerized tests.

“Amanda's hard work and abilities truly showed during these competitions,” said her instructor, Amy Harmsen. “Placing first and fourth in her first competitive event qualified her to go to the National Leadership Conference in Reno, Nev., in May.”

This has been a really great experience so far,” said Ennis. “It has assured me that I am learning the right skills to apply in a business professional's world – it's a great feeling.”
