Moraine Park offers one-day pond session

Moraine Park Technical College is offering a Pond Construction and Maintenance session on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Beaver Dam campus.

Topics will include permits, construction, wildlife ponds, controlling algae, weeds and pond ecology. Find out if one pond will serve for fishing, swimming and wildlife.

This one-day session will be presented by Allan Gruentzel, biochemist for UW Green Bay and UW Milwaukee.
