Moraine Park Technical College and the Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) will offer a free training seminar on Thursday, Nov. 6, to help area businesses learn how to navigate the government’s Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system.
A recent Department of Defense (DOD) initiative mandates “paperless contracting,” which is designed to eliminate paper from the receipts and acceptance process of the DOD contracting lifecycle. More DOD contracts require vendors to invoice the government electronically using WAWF.
This seminar will cover current DOD supplier requirements and highlight important steps to follow when registering your firm with WAWF. You will become familiar with the overall document process and learn about invoices, reports and billing. Other topics will include labels, barcodes and RFID.
The Wide Area Work Flow seminar takes place at Moraine Park’s West Bend campus from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Registration is required and can be done online at http://matcmadison.edu/bpac/seminars. For more information, contact BPAC at firstname.lastname@example.org or 608-243-4490.
