“Spanish for School Administrators, Teachers and Staff” will be offered by Moraine Park Technical College July 7, 9, 14 and 16 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Beaver Dam campus.

The two-week course provides functional Spanish language skills for school personnel who have occasional contact with Spanish-speaking students and visitors. It includes extensive training for non-Spanish-speaking teachers who have Spanish-speaking children in their classroom. Approximately 45 lines of Spanish and numbers will be learned. No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary.

The fee is $44.56, plus the cost of a book. To register for course number 140-448, CRN#10264, call 920-887-1101 or 1-800-472-4554. If you have previously taken a Moraine Park course, you may register online at www.morainepark.edu.

The Wisconsin Legislature provides exemption from payment of program fees for students age 62 or older enrolled in vocational adult classes.  If you are 62 or older, you can enroll in most classes for around $4 for the entire class and audit it, which means you will not receive a grade.
