Free online/blended class orientation offered at Moraine Park

If you’re planning to take an online/blended course at Moraine Park Technical College this fall, a free face-to-face orientation can help you get started.

Online/blended orientation sessions will take place Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Beaver Dam campus; Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the West Bend campus; and Thursday, Aug.13, at the Fond du Lac campus. Participants can choose from 2:30 to 4 p.m. or 5:30 to 7 p.m. sessions.

A blended format refers to classes that can be taken both online and in the classroom. These optional orientation sessions are designed to help prospective and newly enrolled students get a feel for online courses, eCollege, chat rooms and other aspects of online learning.
