An endowed memorial scholarship has been established with the Moraine Park Foundation. The Bradley J. Matusiak Memorial Scholarship is available to second-year students enrolled in the Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Associate (AODA) degree program at Moraine Park Technical College. The scholarship was made possible through Matusiak’s estate.

Matusiak passed away in March 2009 and was buried with full honors in the veterans cemetery in King. He was remembered as a person who was always kind, gentle and laughed easily.

“The endowed scholarship will carry the spirit of Bradley Matusiak into the future and benefit somany students,” said Dr. Sharon Nevins Holmes, Moraine Park vice president of marketing and college advancement. “It is a beautiful way to memorialize a loved one and commemorate a life into perpetuity with a gift of education to a deserving student.” The Moraine Park Foundation has seven endowed scholarships and 19 annual scholarships that honor the memories of loved ones and make a difference for current students.
