Moraine Park campuses host events in September

Join Moraine Park Technical College in September for Constitution Day, comedy and a concert!


Fond du Lac campus: The general public is invited to join in the annual celebration of Constitution Day, Sept. 17, with free showings of an acclaimed movie about the women’s suffrage movement from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meals are available at each showing and can be purchased by the public for $5. West Bend campus: Singer/songwriter Sean McConnell returns to Moraine Park for a Coffeehouse Concert on Monday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the newly remodeled Campus Café. McConnell’s songs have been recorded by other performing artists such as Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Meatloaf. Food can be purchased at cost by the general public.


Comedian Ronnie Jordan will perform on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. Jordan has performed on the Queens of Comedy 12 city tour, the Miller Lite King and Queens of Comedy Search Tour, the Crown Royal Comedy Soul Fest Tour and the RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour. He also has been featured on Comic View and currently appears regularly at the Punchline Comedy Club in Atlanta.

Beaver Dam campus: On Monday, Sept. 28, comedian Ronnie Jordan will serve up lunch-hour laughs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the commons.
