Richard Barnhouse, dean of students at Moraine Park Technical College, recently earned his doctorate in leadership, learning and service from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
Barnhouse’s dissertation was on “Leadership Formation and the Influence of Chaotic, Unpredictable Experiences in the Growth and Development of Leadership.”
He received a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology/physical education from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, and a master’s degree sports administration from Central Michigan University.
Prior to joining Moraine Park in 2007, Barnhouse was the assistant campus dean for administrative services at the University of Wisconsin–Sheboygan.
