In fiscal year 2008, the State of Wisconsin spent $1.6 billion on contracts. Moraine Park Technical College and the Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) will present a seminar on Thursday, Nov. 5, to help area businesses learn how to effectively compete for contracts and sell their products/services to the state government.

“Selling to the State of Wisconsin” will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Moraine Park’s Fond du Lac campus. Learn how the state government procures the products and services it needs, which agencies buy what items/services and how to use VendorNet, the state’s electronic purchasing information system.

The fee is $30 per person and registration is required. Visit matcmadison.edu/bpac-wi for online registration and additional information, or contact BPAC at (608) 243-4490 or bpac@matcmadison.edu.
