On Thursday, March 11, play a round of championship golf without traveling farther than Pillars Pub in West Bend when the Moraine Park Foundation holds its annual Phantom Golf event.
The real 2010 U.S. Open Championship will take place June 14-20 at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California. On March 11, Phantom U.S. Open golfers will “play” 18 holes of Pebble Beach from the comfort of their chairs at Pillars Pub, which is a co-sponsor of this fundraiser for Moraine Park Technical College student scholarships.
Registration begins at 6 p.m., with the game getting under way at 6:30 p.m. Participants golf the event by randomly drawing their scores and can purchase mulligans or have the pro take their shot. Top prizes include dinner packages, U.S. Open merchandise and rounds of golf. There will also be a Phantom Squares raffle and a skins game. Food will be served, with a cash bar available.
The entry fee is $25 per person. Tickets can be purchased at Pillars Pub, or call 920-924-3263 or e-mail email@example.com.
All proceeds will benefit the Moraine Park Foundation. To learn more about the Foundation, visit morainepark.edu/foundation.
