The Moraine Park Foundation, Society Insurance and the Culinary Arts program at Moraine Park Technical College invite you to enjoy the cuisine of Mediterranean countries on Friday, April 23.
Following a ports-of-call cruise theme, savor the flavors of Spain, Morocco, Greece, Italy and France from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Park Terrace restaurant on the College’s Fond du Lac campus. This annual gourmet dinner, which features a different theme each year, benefits the Moraine Park Foundation’s general scholarship fund.
Appetizers and wine reminiscent of Spain and Morocco will be served from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Beginning at 7 p.m., guests will enjoy a sumptuous meal with Greek and Italian influences, featuring avgolemono (soup), a Greek salad improvisation, Chianti sorbet laced with fresh basil, filet of beef tenderloin with Spanish ham, and Grande aged provolone cheese and a mushroom duxelle. The Winnebago Lutheran Academy Show Choir will provide musical entertainment, sponsored by Fox Valley Savings Bank.
After dinner at 9 p.m., guests may partake of French sweets and pastries as well as Blue Goose Blend coffee by Alterra, provided by the Blue Goose Coffee House in Horicon Bank, and dessert wine.
