Moraine Park Accounting students place at state competition

Students from the Accounting program at Moraine Park Technical College attended the recent Spring Leadership Conference for the Business Professionals of America, competing against the other 15 Wisconsin technical colleges. 


Competitions included interview skills, accounting skills and financial analyst team. The Moraine Park students placed in the top six and qualified for the National Leadership Conference competitions in Anaheim, Calif., in May. They included Amber Bartow of Oshkosh, Rachel Horsch, Sherry LaPene and Nathan Schwartz, all of Fond du Lac, Jeremy Pickering of Eden and Amy Zeleske of North Fond du Lac. Instructor and advisor Julie Dilling accompanied the group.


Business Professionals of America is the leading career and technical student organization for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.
