Community members are invited to join the fun when Moraine Park Technical College students at the Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac and West Bend campuses mark the end of the 2009-10 academic year with the annual Last Blasts.
Beaver Dam campus: The general public is invited to the Dueling Pianos show (www.duelingpianoshows.com) on Wednesday, April 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and may purchase lunch for $5 per meal. Dueling Pianos is a high-energy, all-request, sing-along, clap-along, rock 'n roll comedy piano show. Fond du Lac campus: On Monday, April 26, a Last Blast Movie of the Month will be shown in the Cyber Center cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; food can be purchased at both showings. On Wednesday, April 28, a Last Blast Lunch will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and feature diversity and leadership speaker Stan Pearson from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pearson’s mission is to help others improve their outlook and use diversity to get where they want to be in life. Lunch is available to the public for $5 per meal.
West Bend campus: On Wednesday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., join students and staff in the cafeteria and patio areas for a Hawaiian luau and pig roast featuring rock band Reilly, carnival games, a scavenger hunt, volleyball and more.
