Military Packaging/RFID training offered at Moraine Park

Moraine Park Technical College will help area businesses learn about the Department of Defense packaging, labeling and shipping requirements at a seminar on Wednesday, June 16.

 

The Military Packaging/RFID training session will be conducted by the Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) at Moraine Park’s West Bend campus from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by Bentley World-Packaging Ltd., Goehner Industries and Transpak Corporation. 

 

Douglas Jokinen, packaging specialist with the Defense Contract Management Agency Packaging Division, is the presenter. The Department of Defense offers some of the best opportunities for manufacturing sectors to do business with the federal government.

Established by Madison Area Technical College in 1988, BPAC provides technical and marketing assistance to Wisconsin businesses. In fiscal year 2008-2009, BPAC helped Wisconsin businesses win a total of $617.3 million in contract awards.
