Free online/blended class orientation offered at Moraine Park in August

If you’re planning to take an online/blended course at Moraine Park Technical College this fall, a free face-to-face orientation can help you get started.

Online/blended orientation sessions will take place on the following days from 2:30-4 p.m. and 5:30-7 p.m.:
Beaver Dam campus: Tuesday, Aug. 10
West Bend campus: Wednesday, Aug. 11
Fond du Lac campus: Thursday, Aug. 12

In addition there will be another session at the Fond du Lac campus on Monday, Aug. 23, from 1:30-3 p.m. and at the West Bend campus on Tuesday, Aug. 24, from 12:30 -2 p.m.

A blended format refers to classes that can be taken both online and in the classroom. These optional orientation sessions are designed to help prospective and newly enrolled students get a feel for online courses, eCollege, chat rooms and other aspects of online learning.
