Herzing University distinguishes itself from other academic institutions through the three Cs: caring, convenient and career-focused education. Fast-paced programs, hands-on learning and small-class atmosphere are how past Herzing University students and alumni describe their experience with the college. Now, Moraine Park Technical College students will have the exciting option to also experience educational programs and services through Herzing University.

Thanks to a new articulation agreement, Moraine Park students can transfer credits with ease to regionally accredited Herzing University. In Wisconsin, Herzing University campuses are located in Brookfield, Kenosha and Madison. The university is also a leader in online education, allowing many scheduling options.

Three degrees are part of the Moraine Park agreement with Herzing University including Technical Management, Health Care Management and Business Administration.

The Technical Management program allows future career positions as Project Manager, Director of Information Technology, and Chief Technology Officer. A minimum of 30 semester credit hours from the core courses from a technical or vocational associate’s degree will be accepted as required technical courses.

Health Care Management gives graduates the business and management skills required for leadership positions in health care. Up to 37 semester credit hours will be transferred from a combination of open electives and credits transferred from the core (non-general education) courses of a health care-related associate degree.

The Business Administration program is based on Herzing University’s proven business core curriculum, essential for entry-level positions in virtually every industry. Up to 33 semester credit hours will transfer as open elective courses from any associate degree program at the College.

“We are pleased to be finalizing our new transfer agreement with Herzing University,” said Daniel Ensalaco, vice president of academics and student affairs at Moraine Park. “Herzing University offers an array of bachelors and graduate degree programs that focus on adult learners. The college is a great match for Moraine Park’s associate in applied science degree graduates who are interested in pursuing higher education.”

“Herzing University is excited to be offered the opportunity to establish an alliance partnership with Moraine Park Technical College,” said Dr. Todd Rickel, online president and vice president of e-learning. “With the rising cost of college tuition, this partnership will allow Moraine Park Technical College graduates affordable education to pursue their educational and career goals.”

Herzing University will be at all three Moraine Park campuses for Transfer Fair 2011 on March 7 and 8. For more information on the Transfer Fair 2011, visit morainepark.edu/transferfair. For more information on Herzing University, visit herzing.edu.
