Moraine Park Technical College is teaming up with Marian University, UW-Fond du Lac and Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation to sponsor and host a Post-Secondary Options Night, coordinated by the Fond du Lac Area Counselors Association (FACA). Post-Secondary Options Night will be held on Wednesday, April 6, on Moraine Park’s Fond du Lac campus from 5:45 to 8:15 p.m.
The event will provide high school sophomores, juniors, and their parents, with information on two-year colleges, four-year public and private colleges and universities, the military, and earning college credits in high school. The event will begin with refreshments in the commons area at 5:45 p.m. and a welcome in Room A-109.
From 6:20 until 8 p.m., students and parents will be able to attend three different sessions of their choice, before returning to A-109 for a wrap-up, complete with door prizes.
Seven different sessions are available to choose from including: University of Wisconsin System (representatives from UW-Oshkosh, UW-Madison, UW-Fond du Lac and UW-Milwaukee), Wisconsin Private Colleges (representatives from Marian University, Ripon College, St. Norbert College and Lawrence University), Wisconsin Technical Colleges (representatives from Moraine Park, Fox Valley, Lakeshore and Northeast Wisconsin), Financial Aid, College Search Jeopardy, Application and Scholarship Writing, and Earn College Credits in High School. Military representatives will be available in the hallway outside the commons area to provide information and answer questions.
