Rev up your engines, the fourth annual Moraine Park Car Show will be held on Sunday, May 1, at Moraine Park Technical College’s Fond du Lac campus.

Hosted by the Moraine Park Auto Club, the show takes place in the C parking lot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine, with the gate opening at 7 a.m. The 16 entry categories are listed on the flyer located at autotech.mptcclubs.com/carshow.html. Last year 200 show cars were on display. Trophies are awarded for first through third place, and Best in Show.

The exhaust sound-off competition returns this year, along with a swap meet that will take place in the E lot. For the swap meet, use the northeast entrance of the B lot off Campus Drive. Parking stalls of 10 feet by 20 feet are $20 each.

The Moraine Park Culinary Arts Club will provide food and beverages for purchase, while the Cosmetology Club will offer mini manicures and temporary tattoos.

General admission is $2. Children under 12 will be admitted free. Proceeds from car registration and admission fees go to the Auto Club for scholarships, registration and test fees for ASE certification, and educational activities such as trips to car assembly plants.
