Moraine Park Technical College will be hosting a one-day seminar on how to differentiate a community or business to create a competitive advantage through sustainability. The seminar will be held on Moraine Park’s Beaver Dam campus on Friday, Sept. 16 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. with a cost of $99. Information sessions will take place in the morning, with tours in the Columbus area from 1 until 3 p.m.
Boyd Kraemer will be presenting at the seminar. Kraemer has spent his entire career in local government, serving communities in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Colorado and Arizona, with populations from 4,500 to 61,000. His expertise is in economic development, municipal utility administration, including FAA airport administration and infrastructure development. He currently serves the City of Columbus as City Administrator and Executive Director for the Columbus Community Development Authority.
