Moraine Park Technical College will be offering several credit and noncredit training opportunities this fall, allowing business and industry to improve their competitive edge, as well as develop and retain a skilled workforce. All classes listed below will take place on Moraine Park’s Fond du Lac campus.
Develop Your Social Media Strategy will take place on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 8 a.m. - 12 noon. The workshop was created specifically to guide business professionals in developing a relevant social media strategy. Cost is $149 per person, which includes materials and refreshments.
Business Forum: Grow Your Workforce Talent! will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. This is Moraine Park’s third business forum to network and share best practices with other business leaders. This forum will discuss the importance of succession planning in today's economy with Dr. Jeffrey Sachese, Labor Market Analyst for the Wisconsin Office of Economic Advisors, presenting.
On Wednesday, Sept. 14, and Thursday, Sept. 15, a two-part training will take place, Guiding Customer Conversations and Expanding Customer Conversations. Guiding Customer Conversations will take place from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday and cover the four common parts of customer interaction. Expanding Customer Conversations will be held from 8 a.m. - 12 noon on Thursday and expand the customer’s business relationships by identifying and satisfying additional customer needs.
