Is your business aware of all the opportunities that government procurement has to offer? On Thursday, Oct. 6, Moraine Park Technical College is hosting a seminar that will help area businesses learn how to effectively compete for contracts, in order to sell products and/or services to the federal government. The seminar is entitled Getting Started in Federal Contracting. It will be held at Moraine Park’s Beaver Dam campus, conducted by the Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) of Madison College.
The session will be held from 9 until 11:30 a.m. This entry-level seminar provides a solid orientation to the federal contracting environment for those new to the market. Participants will learn how to register with the federal government, identify which agencies buy their products and/or services and how to locate agency websites for marketing opportunities.
