Moraine Park Technical College wants to help you tighten your belt. On Saturday, Oct. 22, Moraine Park will be offering Money Management classes that will help participants save for now and in the future. Two money management classes will be offered — the first class focuses on being debt free and the second on developing a spending plan.
The debt free class (Part 1) will provide participants proven strategies that eliminate debt in the shortest possible time. The class shares techniques in paying off student and car loans, credit cards and other installments. Learn how to pay off a 30-year mortgage, saving thousands of dollars. The class will run from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The spending plan class (Part 2) will focus on succeeding financially with a personal spending plan. Through a spending plan, individuals and families can achieve their goals, feel secure and survive economic instability.
Learn to build a flexible, useable and highly effective budget to help achieve financial success. The class will run from 1-3:55 p.m.
