Fechter does regular TV spots on TV6

Moraine Park Technical College is excited to welcome Diane Fechter as an instructor for two upcoming cooking classes on Moraine Park’s West Bend campus. Fechter has been a cooking teacher for women wanting to improve their culinary skills through a program called “Apples of Gold.” There have been 100 graduates of the program. She has been featured in the Taste of Home magazine, has published a cookbook and started a cooking blog. Fechter receives rave reviews for her regular cooking segments on Milwaukee’s TV-6 morning show.

Fechter will be teaching a course on Nov. 3 entitled Fun, Fast and Frugal Foods (CRN 21736): Holiday Brunch Menu. The class is designed for those “fearful” to make a big dinner for holiday guests. Fechter will demonstrate how to make easy yet fancy recipes for holiday gatherings. The class will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

The second course from Fechter will take place on Dec. 1 and is entitled Gifts From the Heart (CRN 21737). The class features a variety of delicious yet economical food gifts and how to arrange them in attractive containers. Fechter will share her recipes for simple candies and fudge. The class will run from 6 to 8 p.m.

The cost to attend each class is $13.75 and, for those 62 and over, the cost is $11.31.
