There’s something special about receiving a homemade gift for the holidays. Moraine Park Technical College’s Beaver Dam campus is offering two opportunities on Saturday, Dec. 3, to learn about hand-spun glass ornaments. Participants will be able to create and take their own homemade creation for the holidays. The class will be offered from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and again from 12 noon until 3 p.m.

Students will have the opportunity to practice the technique of creating fine art with glass and create decorative ornaments using torches and glass tubing. All materials are included, with tools provided. The instructor is Rich Nagle, from Hand Blown Glass Company in Wisconsin Dells.

Call 920-887-1101 and refer to CRN 20202 for the morning session and 20203 for the afternoon session. Cost is $23.50 to attend. The registration deadline is Nov. 26.
