Educator and active West Bend community member Donna Goetz is the newest Moraine Park Technical College District Board member. Goetz was sworn in on July 9. Goetz’s current work with high school students and previous employment as a university instructor has provided her with familiarity in the behaviors, learning needs and preferences of secondary education students, making Goetz an asset to decision-making at the College Board level.
"Moraine Park is such a wonderful educational and career resource available to a wide variety of learners, including current high school students, recent high school graduates, and adult learners,” said Goetz. “I am eager to begin my role as a board member and be part of the long tradition of ensuring student success.”
Goetz received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Carroll College, Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling and Doctorate of Philosophy from UW-Milwaukee. Since 2004, Goetz has been serving as a school psychologist in the West Bend School District. She was an instructor at UW-Milwaukee and served in several psychology and counseling-related positions prior.
