The author of Financial Peace, Ramsey is also the financial commentator on the nationally syndicated “The Dave Ramsey Show.”

Part 1 covers savings, budgets and debt; Part 2 overviews college student essentials, family friends, philanthropy and consumer awareness; Part 3 teaches bargains, credit bureaus and insurance; and Part 4 discusses investments, retirement and savings plans. “We teach common sense, real-life financial principles that work,” O’Brien said. Each course in the series builds on the skills and knowledge learned during the preceding courses.
