Moraine Park Technical College is pleased to announce that students in the nursing program have again surpassed the national pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN) and the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN) exams.

One hundred percent of first-time Moraine Park test takers successfully passed the NCLEX-PN while 95 percent passed the NCLEX-RN. All nursing students must pass these exams to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Registered Nurse.

“Faculty and staff at Moraine Park have worked very hard to make sure our students have all the resources they need to succeed,” Kathy VanEerden, associate dean of nursing at Moraine Park, said. “We strive to maintain this level of performance.”
