What kind of Community Education courses does Moraine Park Technical College offer?
Our campuses offer over 800 courses per year at various locations throughout the district. We have offerings in estate planning, health and wellness, small business, culinary, crafts and recreations, computers. Basically we offer a variety of courses in many different areas; these courses are available to help you grow your expertise or to take just for the fun of it!

Join us for this FREE event on Saturday, November 10, from 9-11:30 a.m. at the West Bend campus! We are offering four different classes in Community Education for you to “sample” at no cost to you, so you can get a taste of what our Community Education courses are like. From starting your own business to learning how to introduce yourself in Sign Language, come enjoy the morning learning some new skills!

Should I Start My Own Business?
Those that succeed are those that are brave enough to take chances–and smart enough to learn as much as they can about business before taking that leap of faith. If you are just starting out with your first business idea, we will help you get on the right track to succeed.

Sign Language (ASL) – Learn How to Introduce Yourself
Explore basic signs and strategies used by the Deaf Community. Students will learn how to introduce themselves by the end of class.
10:30 am – 11:30 am
Spanish 101: Learn Basic Spanish Words for fun!
Practice basic greetings and phrases and their proper pronunciations. Explore words used in both languages that are similar and obtain additional resources that will help you learn some basics.

Photo Critique
A thoughtful photo critique is hard to come by. Bring a jump drive with a photo to share and a professional photographer will analyze it and make suggestions on ways to improve your photography.
